Fotoğraf Sanatı Sismanoglio Megaro'da

Yunanistan İstanbul Başkonsolosluğu 2012 etkinliklerini Sismanoglio Megaro binasında fotoğraf sanatına adanmış bir festival ile başlatıyor. 10 fotoğrafçı, 4 ayrı sergi ve 200’e yakın fotoğrafla 25 Ocak - 4 Mart 2012 tarihleri arasında renk, ışık, gölge ve yanıimalarla ziyaretçilerini etkilemek için sabırsızlanıyor.
Ana Fotoğraf Sergileri
Sismanoglio Megaro, 25 Ocak’ta Sami Solmaz’ın objektifinden”Adalılar”adlı sergisiyle, tarihten izler barındıran ada topraklarında yaşayan insanlara dair çektiği kareleri sanatseverlerle paylaşıyor. Adalar Müzesi işbirliğiyle yürütülen sergi 11 Şubat’a kadar gezilebilir. Fotoğraf sanatçısı Kostas Vergas bizi “’Yunanistan’dan Esintiler’’ isimli sergisinde, sayisiz yunan topografya alternatiflerine doğru yolculuğa götürecek. Kostas Vergas Yunanista’nı adım adım dolaşarak, 60 lirik fotoğrafiyla, bize bu duygulu ve şiirsel güzellikleri kendi şahsi objektifinden sunuyor. Sanatçının sergisi halihazırda Ankara ve İzmirde devam ederken, Sismanoglio Megaro binasında 14 -24 Şubat tarihlerinde sanatseverlerin beğenisine sunulacaktır. “Εkümenik Patrik Hz. I. Bartholomeos Atos Dağında 1992-2011” adlı son sergide Ekümenik Patriğin Atos Dağına ziyaretlerinin altı Yunan fotoğrafçının objektifinden görüntülenen eserler sunuluyor. 27 Şubat-4 Mart 2012 tarihleri arasında sunulan sergi Atos Dağı Merkezi’nin işbirliğiyle düzenleniyor.
Paralel Sergi
İstanbul-Atina: Paralel Anlatılar İki genç fotoğrafçı, Anthi Mara ve Ece Kavlak, biri Atinda’dan diğeri İstanbul’dan, fotoğrafı bir diyaloga geliştiren, paralel görüntülerin dönüşümüyle ve kendi bireysel bakış açılarıyla iki kentte bizi gezdiriyor. Sergi süresi: 25 Ocak- 4 Mart 2012.

PRESS RELEASE
The Consulate General of Greece inaugurates the 2012 cultural activity at the Sismanoglio Megaro with a tribute to the art of photography. From 25 January to 5 March 2012, 10 photographers endeavour to titillate the visitor’s senses wıth light, colours, shadows and reflections, in 200 photographs in total, presented in 4 separate exhibitions.
Main Exhibitions
The curtain of the tribute at the Sismanoglio Megaro will be drawn up by the Turkish photographer Sami Solmaz on Wednesday, 25 January 2012 with his exhibition “The Islanders”. Its focal premise being the inhabitants of the Prince’s Islands who live in a place thriving with marks of the past. The exhibition is co-organised with the Museum of the Prince’s Islands and will last till 11 February 2012. The photographer Kostas Vergas will take us on a voyage along the numerous variations of the Greek scenery using as a medium his exhibition “Images of Greece”. Kostas Vergas stands among the few who has walked in and took photographs of the Greek area to such an extent; he projected the beauties of the Greek landscape with sensitivity and poetic mood onto sixty lyrical photos. His exhibition, which has already been presented to the public of Ankara and Izmir, will be hosted at the Sismanoglio Megaro from 14 February to 24 February 2012. During the last exhibition, under the title “Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. Journeying on Mount Athos 1992-2011”, six Greek photographers present their works shot during the Ecumenical Patriarch’s visits to Mount Athos. The exhibition will last from 27 February to 4 March 2012. It is co-organised with the Mount Athos Center.
Parallel Exhibition
Istanbul-Athens: Parallel Narrations Two young women photographers, Anthi Mara and Ece Kavlak, the first from Athens and the second from Istanbul, guide us through the two modern metropolises as seen through their lenses; we get carried away into an alternation of parallel images which evolves into a photographic dialogue between the two artists.
